No roteiro do rock | On the rock tour
Passado que está o Rock in Rio, Lisboa volta a estar no roteiro do melhor rock mundial durante o mês de Julho. Dois grandes festivais estão aí à porta e os próximos dias serão para muitos a última oportunidade para comprar bilhetes e estudar os horários dos concertos a ver.
De 10 a 12 de Julho, vai realizar-se mais uma edição do Optimus Alive ‘14, que trará ao passeio marítimo de Algés, em Oeiras, bem perto da capital, nomes sonantes como os Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons, Foster The People, entre muitos outros. E se de noite é a música que tem destaque, o American Diamonds Hotel deixa a sugestão para que os festivaleiros usufruam da localização do recinto e aproveitem para, durante o dia, conhecerem Lisboa. Nada como um passeio relaxante no Parque das Nações ou em Belém para recuperar de noites de muita diversão e cantorias. De Lisboa ao passeio marítimo de Algés as opções de transportes públicos são muitas e com horários alargados nos dias do festival.
Depois do festival mais citadino é a vez de enterrar os pés na areia e ir até à outra margem, para na praia do Meco de 17 a 19 de Julho assistir ao Super Bock Super Rock. É já a vigésima edição deste festival que este ano trás até nós nomes como Eddie Vedder, Massice Attack, Kasabian ou os portugueses Dead Combo, Zé Pedro e The Legendary Tigerman.
Sol, praia, amigos, boa música e Lisboa por perto são a combinação perfeita destes dois grandes festivais de Verão que, todos os anos, atraem milhares de festivaleiros e colocam a cidade no roteiro do rock.
Now that Rock in Rio has come to an end, Lisbon is once again part of the world’s best rock tours during the month of July. Two big festivals are just around the corner and the upcoming days will be the last chance for many to buy tickets and take a look at the concert schedules.
From July 10th to 12th another edition of Optimus Alive ’14 will bring to Algés riverside, in Oeiras, big names like Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons, Foster The People, among many others. And if during the night is music that rules, the American Diamonds Hotel leaves the suggestion that festival-goers take advantage of the venue’s location and get to know Lisbon during the day. Nothing like a relaxing walk at Parque das Nações or Belém to recover from nights of singing and lots of fun. From Lisbon to Algés riverside, there are many public transportation options and with extended hours on festival’s dates.
After the most urban festival it’s time to bury your feet in the sand and go to the other river bank, to Meco beach, from July 17th to 19th to watch the Super Bock Super Rock. It’s the 20th edition of this festival that this year brings us names like Eddie Vedder, Massice Attack, Kasabian or the Portuguese Dead Combo, Zé Pedro and The Legendary Tigerman.
Sun, beach, friends, good music and Lisbon close by are the perfect combination of these two great summer festivals that each year attract thousands of festival-goers and put the city on the rock tour.
