Esta semana Lisboa será o centro do futebol europeu ao receber a final da Liga dos Campeões, no sábado, no Estádio da Luz. Real e Atlético de Madrid defrontam-se num jogo que promete muita emoção. A cidade vai encher-se de adeptos do país vizinho e para aqueles que vão chegar à capital apenas umas horas antes do jogo o American Diamond Hotel sugere um roteiro rápido para se conhecer a capital portuguesa antes do grande confronto.

Já que será uma semana marcada por este evento desportivo, a nossa sugestão de percurso começa no Marquês de Pombal, lugar onde habitualmente adeptos do Benfica, a equipa cujo estádio será o palco da final, festejam as conquistam do seu clube. Desça depois a Avenida da Liberdade para conhecer uma das artérias de maior destaque da cidade e aproveite para fazer umas compras.

Depois de passar a Praça dos Restauradores espreite a bonita estação do Rossio. Continue pela Praça D. Pedro IV, descendo até ao elevador de Santa Justa. Se tiver tempo recomendamos que suba, pois a vista vale bem a pena. Retome caminho pela Rua Augusta e descanse um pouco nas muitas esplanadas que ocupam a artéria. Aproveite também a “fotogenia” da cidade para tirar muitas fotos e ficar com recordações de Lisboa. O arco da rua Augusta é um bom lugar para subir se gostar de fotografia panorâmica.

O nosso roteiro rápido termina na Praça do Comércio de frente para o Tejo onde de 22 a 25 de Maio a decorre o Champions Festival, um evento promovido pela UEFA onde não faltam atividades relacionadas com a final de sábado.

Depois desta descida até ao rio é hora de se dirigir até ao Estádio da Luz para um grande jogo e que vença o melhor!

This week, Lisbon will be the center of European football to host the final of the Champions League, on Saturday, at the Estádio da Luz. Real and Atletico Madrid are face to face in a game that promises a lot of excitement. The city will be filled with fans of the neighbour country and to those who will reach the capital just a few hours before the game, the America Diamonds Hotel suggests a quick tour to know the Portuguese capital before the big showdown.

Since it will be a week marked by this sport event, our suggested tour starts at the Marquês de Pombal, where usually Benfica supporters, the team whose stadium will stage the final, celebrates their victories. After, go down the Avenida da Liberdade to meet one of the most prominent arteries of the city and take time to do some shopping.

After the Praça dos Restaurantes take a look of the beautiful Rossio station. Continue to the Praça D. Pedro IV, until you reach the elevator of Santa Justa. If you have time we recommended you go up, because the view is well worth it. Resume along the Rua Augusta and relax a little in the many restaurant and coffee terraces that occupy the artery. Enjoy also the “photogenic” city to take many pictures and leave with memories of Lisbon. The Rua Augusta Arch is a good place to climb if you like panoramic photography.

Our fast tour ends in Praça do Comércio facing the Tejo river, where on the 22nd until the 25th of May you can follow the Champions Festival, an event organized by UEFA where there are many activities related to the final on Saturday.
