Café-Restaurante cheio de história, tradição e cultura, ou não tivesse sido frequentado, durante muito tempo, pela elite intelectual de Lisboa (o poeta Bocage era um dos “habitués” e a sua estátua lá está a comprová-lo). Hoje os tempos são outros, mas o Nicola permanece uma referência incontornável e continua a ser palco, senão das tertúlias de outrora, pelo menos de pontos de encontro de certos estilos de interesses e modos de vida. O Nicola é, sem dúvida, um local de paragem obrigatória para quem visita Lisboa.
